Late January Warm Up Playlist

I originally made this playlist in January, but posting things regularly is so much harder than it seems! These jams are still useful for those June days that end up being way colder than they need to be.

10,000 Emerald Pools is mandatory listening.

New year, new schedule…

For almost two years I taught six yoga classes a week along with a full time job.

Add in practicing 4-5 times a week, spending time with family/friends, making new playlists, watching Game of Thrones, sleeping and BAM! There’s a full plate if I’ve seen one.

I love teaching and wish I could keep up with that schedule, but I needed to make some space in my life for some other things. Travel, exploration, studying, reading, and generally more time to reflect.

I read somewhere that boredom is good for your creativity, and I found that I didn’t have time to ever get boredSo I needed to make a change.

I’ll be giving up my Friday 8am and Sunday 10:30am (plus Wednesday at the Edge).  Good news though – I’ll be taking over the 7am Flow at 99 University. Check out my schedule page for the changes, hope to see you in class!

Yogis Unite!

My friend Amanda Baudier is a rockstar.  Entrepreneur, yogi, healer, singer, life teacher – she does it all.  She’s also co-founder of The Social Sutras, whose aim is to foster connections and learning throughout and between different yoga communities.  Her latest project is Yogis Unite, an offering that donates to charity and allows students to check out different studies for up to 50% off (hell yea!).  I just bought my pass – you should too.  Check out the information below!
