About Andrea
Hey, I’m Andrea 👋🏽
I’m a yoga teacher, mindfulness guide & diversity workshop facilitator. My classes braid together movement, breathing, and philosophy to inspire introspection. I love offering open level classes that are engaging and thought provoking… but balanced with levity and humor.
I’m interested in the habits and tools we use to take care of ourselves, so we can take care of each other better. I feel that we’re interconnected. Which means that healing ourselves is essential, or we risk unintentionally reinforcing patterns of oppression and harm. I see our personal practice as an essential piece of the struggle for equity and social justice, so in my classes, I aim to highlight the relationship between our inner and outer worlds.
I’m originally from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands and I took my first yoga class there as a teen. I did my 200-hour teacher training at Yoga Vida and over the years have studied with some phenomenal teachers, who I’m very grateful to.
In addition to my yoga offerings, I’m a Product Manager at Meta and have worked in tech for the past 10 years. I’m co-founder of Levels, a live music venue and creative space in Christiansted, St. Croix. Aside from all my “work” stuff, I find joy by traveling and in creative hobbies like ceramics, practicing guitar and watching reality TV.
